babysitting

assalamualaikum,

please ask me, how did i spend my holiday? hehe.

i spent about two months of my holidays to babysit my dear niece and nephew with some help from mak. eh. it should be like this. my mak spend her days babysitting her grandchildren with some help from me. that should be a precise way to describe the situation. haha. =P

babysitting a toddler and a kid was not an easy job. we had to. we had no choice. my sister needed our helps and we probably will need her help some day which we still do not know. that's the reason why we still survive and force ourselves to survive with two hyper active kids.

adik woke up in the middle of her beauty sleep and my beauty sleep asking for 'susu'. she's a morning toddler. woke up early in the morning. our alarm clock. =P

along, on the other hand, loved to watch cartoon on television. He would shout out loud and cry on top of his lungs if someone switched the cartoon channels on tv.

to sum up, it was not an easy journey to raise up a human. turn back to your parents and say thank you for everything they had sacrificed for you back then and until now.

I often argued to my mother, why do we have to do all these? we had to sacrifice our beauty sleep. we had to sacrifice everything. my outing was not complete without the two musketeers. i always had them with me to wherever i went for two months. if not both, either one. anak-anakku.

i went to the night market. shakir wanted toys. the seller asked me 'anak sorang ka baru?'. i nodded. the motherly hormones surged through my veins.

i felt special everyday. they would come to me, hug me, kiss me, pat my cheeks and i hugged them back. those moments were priceless.

there were times when they were in bad mood. they threw tantrums and they hit me and they did everything just to test my level of patience. sometimes, i just couldn't keep calm. but, most of the time, i would hug them and say motherly words. it always worked. omg, i could feel the motherly hormones surged through my vessels.

i brought them to the panel clinic. the doctor asked me so many questions as if i knew everything about them. yes, i knew everything about the kids on my lap cz i was the one who took care of them.

woke up at four just to make sure the kids took their medicine right on time. i felt special.

running here and there in your house just to catch a little monster after bath time was not easy but i felt special for those experience. priceless.

now i know kenapa ibu-ibu tak sanggup berpisah dengan anak. the bonding.

baru mengasuh dua bulan siang malam. sedih. rindu bau anak-anak. wangi. rindu anak-anak tidur atas lengan. tukar diaper tengah malam. berjaga sebab demam. berlari pakaikan baju. paksa makan ubat dan macam-macam lagi.

basically, the routines were just similar for each and everyday. but, the ups and downs that made it different.

agaknya kalau ada anak sendiri musnah impian nak ambil master. tak sanggup tinggal.

each and every single moment with your children is special. they grow up each and everyday without fail. if i'm a mother, i dare not to miss each and every single special moment with my kids. i want to be the first person to witness my child stand on his/her own two feet, talk his/her first word and everything.

malam ni kena sawan ibu-ibu. hihi

i'm gonna miss them tomorrow night.

inilah sebab tak suka jadi babysitter anak-anak buah. aceceh. haha

till then, assalamualaikum.
