refresh your goal

salam,

hehe. catchy tak topic di atas? for 'teenager' like me who's not yet married and still waiting for my turn, this topic might be catchy.  this is one of the most popular discussion/chit-chatting/gossiping topics in my class  and even during discussion. we can drag and stretch it until more than two hours. hot! this is serious. you don't have to lie at me. i know it coz i'm still a teenager though at this age, you can call me 'remaja terlajak' but do you think i care? haha.

that's not the purpose i'm here today.

these days, early marriage has became a popular trend. should i call it a trend or what not. no, i'm not saying it's a bad trend. it's a good trend actually. a good trend to follow. marriage is sunnah. there should be no reasons to say no when you're capable enough to practice the sunnah or in a short and sweet phrase, when your time comes.

kalau diri ini kata tak teringin, cubit saya kuat-kuat.

that's what we call psychological need. to be loved.

...........................

i was at a supermarket near to my college. that was not my first time seeing a young couple with baby. they looked so young and fragile. the wife was walking behind the husband carrying the infant. she looked like a secondary school teenager. the husband was wearing jeans and simpan ekor kat belakang. dye rambut sikit. same goes to his wife.

be positive syahira! hehe

for some reasons, i pity the infant. she'll grow up with her/his growing parents. they' ll grow up together. in the process of growing up, babies and toddlers will tend to pick up their parents life style, words and almost everything. what if they pick up the negative ones. hurm.

going through a few stages in life, i just couldn't deny the importance of a good role model in the family. children and teenagers are the two groups of human with the high level of curiosity. the wanna know something new. they wanna try something new, challenging things. as long as it's challenging, they will love it too bits.

that's not their fault nor their parents fault. it's the society's fault. the mass media's fault.

but why? put on your thinking cap! and think..why am i blunt enough to drag the society and mass media in a small family problem? there must be some reasons. pikiaqla. saya pun tak tahu but what can i say is it's not only one sided fault.

early marriage itself is good. but how to take care and build a good family when the parents themselves are not capable to be the role models.

browsing through the face book news feed just now and reading a wall post posted by one of the moderators for seminar baitul muslim. i'd be proud enough to share her words. she said 'don't wait for the right person, be the right person'.

a little bit of improvement by me,
be the right person not only to get the right person but for the sake of your future little caliphs. they're indeed a part of your shadow.

faham x? kalau tak faham, buat-buat faham la.

i'm not against the early marriage but thing that i would like to emphasize here is 'know your aim and set the right aim'.

the sweetness of marriage will never last long if the aim is wrong and against the principle of Islam.

know your reason before you proceed into a risky yet wonderful life; marriage.

till then,
sis

i wonder why

Assalamualaikum,

this conversation happened yesterday in a petrol station

adik minta bantuan: kak, saya dari sekolah tahfiz .......... saya ada menjual bam. ada harga sepuluh n dua puluh ringgit. kalau kak tak mau beli pun tak pa. derma seikhlas hati
me: adik mai dari mana?
adik minta bantuan: sekolah tahfiz..........., sik, kedah
me: hari ni hari rabu. adik tak sekolah ka?
adik mita bantuan: yangs aya buat ni salah satu dari aktiviti sekolah.
me: oho!

i ended up giving her some amount of money. i ,sincerely, said to her that i didn't have such amount of money to buy her 'ubat' yet i could give her some, sincerely from the bottom of my heart. sank! why should i be such  sincere. she must be laughing at my stupidity and blurrness. hahaha! i just couldn't think straight at the moment she came to me. well! i was still nervous. driving alone made me crazy. i just couldn't think straight. haha that's not the problem here.

what mattered most was why she spent her time doing such activity. they should be in class doing exercises, learning and exploring something new.

as far as i know, students are not allowed to linger outside of the school area during school time. even it's for the sake of school. that's not the children's responsibility. finding or collecting school fund are not their responsibility. they should be in the classroom. that's their premise.to learn.not to raise fund. not to travel from the north to the south just to raise fund for the school's sake. that's what we call human trafficking. isn't it?

that's not my first time experience yet it was my first time ever having such thinking.

things like that should not happen to children and teenagers.

it's school job to raise fund and think of how to korek money for the sake of the children's future.

sayageram

kagum!

Assalamualaikum,

me: ah, tok tu, cakap sikit je kan. boleh rakam. banyak zikir dari cakap-cakap macam kita kan.
sister: aakan

introducing! my first informal teacher after my parents. she taught me hijaiyah letters. Allah sent her to us not only to be part of our life but for more than that. she taught me and my other sisters to recite the Holy Quran properly/perfectly. salah baca, malas baca. rotan! she taught me so much things about life.

umur 76. can i call her 'hafizah'? tak pernah menyerah kalah untuk menghafal surah-surah dalam al-Quran sampai sekarang. tasmi' selepas solat, sebelum tidoq and whenever she's got nothing to do.

tasmi' setiap kali sebelum tido dan bila-bila sahaja.

tok selalu kata, 'Allah dah tarik sikit-sikit nikmat hidup tok'. tok dah kurang dengar. tengok tv dengan volume 80 ke atas. eardrum dah habis. #malfunction#. Allah has planned the best for us. most of her time is used for zikrullah. she spends very little time for chit chatting and other worldly activities. i never know what does she feel but she never complaints.

kalau nak tahu favourite foods cucu-cucu dia. ask her! she knows better. she's the best cook ever.

at her age, everyday, she'll make sure to wake up early for qiamullail. everyday!!she never misses unless the day before was a tiring day for her.

oh, i nearly forget.. she loves my massage skill too bits. she's my only loyal patient after my mom. skinny does not mean i'm not good at massaging. urat dawai, tulang besi.

just now, tok told me, 'hang urut, tak la lenguh kaki tok semalam'. one happy proud duck smiling ear to ear.

i dun wanna dream too much. the only thing i want is time to spent with her.

who am i, today, without her coz she's part of my growing/my life.

nothing much i can do except to show how much i appreciate and love her. how much i adore her cooking.

there's something money can't buy; love

nak tengok tak tok kami?

taraaanggg!!
ignore muka yang paling banyak tu. tu ratu camwhore..hahaha.

till then. As-salam.

sis

faham-memahami

salam,

jeng..jeng..jeng
today's topic is 'faham memahami'

it's just simply a topic and it's got nothing to do with anybody.

it keeps popping up in my hard disk's news feed these days.. plup..plup..

recently, i've lots lots of things to think (unrelated to education business, definitely). until one day, i just can't hold it no more. it's a huge mistake to keep it on and on and let it be unsolved and sometimes, i'd rather try to comfort myself to just let it be. it's gonna get heal soon. sometimes, it turns out good but most of the time, it's getting worst, beyond the level i can imagine. huhu

the end..

in life, i bet, no one will have to endure the problem sickness if we apply the concept of understanding. but, in order to be understood, we must learn to live a life of the same premise.

as much as we try not to be cruel and to be fair to others, that much we'll be tested whether we're able to practice what we had said.

as you grow up, things like this will pop up in a sudden in your life in no matter how much you want to avoid it or you try to avoid it. what can i say is educate yourself to be understanding. teach yourself to walk in other's shoes.

tiba-tiba je terfikir, bayangkan, semua orang saling memahami. lengkap melengkapi. aman.

tapi, adat kehidupan.

ujian, masalah, cabaran, pening kepala, proses menerima, proses berfikir, proses menyelesaikan masalah, dugaan sesama manusia kan sebahagian daripada kehidupan.

#terus tabah dan jadi positif#

Tuesday's ramblings. =D

phd orang

Most people don't experience the life of their dreams simply because they quit way too easily.-

salam,

sembang-sembang dengan pelajar phd

us: how many years left, madam?
madam: 2 years but that's no more my priority. i'm thinking of quit.
us: huh. but, why? just two years left aite
madam: stressful.

it took me a minute to digest what does it mean actually. for real, she'd wanna quit. just like that. 'quit' when only two years left to wrap up everything. oh man! what a waste... but, little did i know, she maybe had her own strong reasons. was trying to be as positive as i could coz the only thought that i'd have that day was to ask her why? gov had spent thousands for her, yet, as simple as that, she's thinking of quit. so sad.

there's one time when i came across a tabloid  and read an article entitled, 'pelajar phd di luar negara yang tak habiskan pengajian kena bayar balik'.  the main point was 'pay back'. my initial thought was 'kejam gila'. where to find such a huge amount of money. untuk lebih adil, yang dalam negara pun patut bayar balik.

in some way, gov has their own reason too why they should act that cruel. it's okay if let say the phd candidates have a very strong, unavoidable reason but if the reasons are just as wishy-washy as boredom and stressful, then, they deserve to be punished. tak boleh buat rayuan. bayar semua. hihihi.

orang Malaysia tak boleh cepat mengalah. semoga diberi kekuatan ke atas orang itu untuk teruskan. chayok! keep it up. don't give up!

sis

girl in the mirror, Cecelia Ahern

salam,

this time, it took only two days. what a huge progress i made. *masuk bakul, tekan lift*. i just knew that the book i read was a compilation of two short stories (not that short). she wrote only two books of the similar style and one of it was the one i read.

short but it took me awhile to understand the plot or maybe, the style of writing didn't really fit my understanding ability. being me, google was the other option so what i did was to google the review of the short stories. oh! not that i didn't have anything to do but i just couldn't put a full stop sign to my curiosity.

as i said, girls in the mirror is the seventh out of seventh of her novels that i kept in my book shelve. unlike my friend, i loved her style of writing. she's very imaginative and futuristic and not all the time romantic. as you read and kept on reading novels, you'll bump to lots of romantic scenes being described in most of English novels.

'there is charm and magic galore in this beautifully told tales'. two stories in a gorgeous mini hard-cover book, girl in the mirror and the memory maker.

all i could say is, if tales aren't your all the time fav, choose not to read or it's gonna be a nightmare. how can a human stuck in a mirror? how can a shadow speak? ain't it ridiculous?

oho! love. what's done cannot be undone, said Lady Macbeth. sometimes, loving somebody was a huge mistake we ever made, so, for what keeping all those in our long term memory when we have an ideal choice, to forget and start over a new fresh life.

once it's a tale, forever, it's gonna be a tale. it can never be applied in our reality life except for the language wise used.

till then,
sis

happy ever after

salam,

it took one month one week to finish a 350 pages story book. haha. that's me and always be me.

i'm so looking forward to read the next novel in the series. who can lend it to me? tell me!! cz i badly wanna know the ending and how Parker finally gets involved in marriage life after a few times of denying her woman desire.

the story reminded me of my family. planning a wedding as well as finding the correct lifetime partners were never easy even though i  had not had such experienced yet, but, all i could conclude from my siblings' experiences was it's never easy and cost them tears and sacrifices.

it's time for the next one in the list. my seventh book from a young and creative author, Cecelia Ahern.

till then,
sis

it's february!

Salam,

i was happy and still happy.this feeling's indescribable. i couldn't retrieve the reasons why i'm so happy.

to inculcate the love was never easy. i spent one and a half years to build such feeling. it suddenly grew in my soul for the pass few days. May it stay forever and keep growing from day to day.

betulla orang kata, when you started loving something, you would surprisingly feel easy to spend your time and everything yours for the sake of it.

i still remember, there was one time, when my lecturer asked me whom i love most here in my college. i replied, my usrah mates. i never think of such answer yet it came out spontaneously. i was in a big hall and sitting in between of my two closed friends. phew, rasa bersalah sangat. it should be them.

maybe, i could never feel such bonding outside of usrah circle and that's the real power of love.

ISLAHlah. CARI jangan tunggu.

(Al-Ahqaf : 15)

the happy bird
