Assalamualaikum
i'm so excited to pen down my opinion upon the news that is just released by my sister. congratz adik, u got it. she got mrsm kepala batas but according to my sister's message..she's going to reject the offer and she's going to stay at her old school. i ask my sister whether my parents will let her go or not if let say she gets another offer which is from sbp, ameen. they still have no decision for that. but, high probability..my sister is going to stay at her old school and finish her school life there. i just not really into 'stay' but i prefer my sister to migrate to a new school. a new well known school. i've lotsa reasons of saying so as i believe sbp is a better place for her to further her form 4 and form 5. yes, there will be no differences between sbp and the nearby school or to be more specific smk doktor burhanuddin. she's going to learn the same subjects according to the same syllabus. but, she needs experience. we cannot pay for experience but we must search for it. i've to say this. life in sbp is so much different from the ordinary schools. why? let me talk based on my personal experience.i was a student in sbpi kubang pasu for 5 years. but i'm not going to compare with the ordinary school as i dun have any experience with smk.
i cannot deny that there's thousands of experienced teachers out there but most of them are from boarding schools.really?i''m not sure. that's not the main concern as i believe that teachers are just the one who are responsible to show the direction to their student towards the succeed but the students themselves play a big role in their life. no one can force them to work hard except themselves.the initiative to learn, to succeed and to be somebody in their future should come from them. but then, sometimes the environment plays quite a big role in students' life. that's what i'd experienced before. no one forces me to study. my deep desires to succeed in life force me to work hard and forget about anything else except my books. who forced me to do so? my friends and my soul and my parents and my teachers.
when i was in form 4.i was not the old me. i hated my pmr result which was so bad..disaster.i woke up from my deep sleep. that's it.dun go astray from the main topic syahira. i should say i loved the environment where everyone was busying with their books and activities. we helped each other. the teachers loaded lots of exercises on us. but everyone seemed excited to do it. because they're competitions. everyone kept reminding each other. we'd someone near to us to talk to and to asks whatever questions that we didn't understand. peers vs teachers. peers played a big role in teenagers' life. they'd feel more comfortable to ask and to share problems with their friends as compared to their teachers or parents. that's what they'd instilled in us. we worked as a team. a team of we-wanted-to-be-somebody teenagers. we'd riadah in the evening and it's a compulsory. when i was a secondary school student..i hated riadah.i wasn't a sport girl. if u ask me to go for jogging.i'd run while giggling with my friends. jahat..i've lots of priceless memories there. say no to forget as i'd saved it in my natural hard disk. it'll stay there as long as the Alzheimer does not struck me.
we'd a flexible revision hours + stay up room + some of us skipped our sleeping hours and chose to burn the midnight oil in front of our dorm.dekat kaki lima. there were some of us who chose to work for 24 hours during the weekend. it's a hectic life but i enjoyed my life and it's worth it. that's what we called experience. we chose to sacrifice as we believed that through hardships we'd gain the happiness and we'd appreciate it for the entire of our lives.
that's how my story in boarding school goes. i've no experience with smk but i believe that the environment is just similar. my sister is a wise girl. she knows what she wants in hler life. sbp, mrsm and sekolah harian are just similar. the main key to succeed is still 'berusaha'. i just want the best for her as i dun want her to repeat my mistakes. i want her to be more wise in making decisions. i want her to be a futuristic lady who's not afraid to face the challenging future. a superwoman.i dun want her to be like me. doing something that is not fit with my interest.but everything happens for certain reasons. kita manusia merancang, Allah yang menentukan.
pray to him and ask from Him. he is the most Gracious and the most Merciful.and never lose hope of Allah's mercy. but dun forget to keep trying and keep working towards the succeed.
usaha+doa+tawakkal...iA, u'll succeed.
ya Allah kurniakanlah yang terbaik buat adikku sayang..
