i'm home

salam,

happy 'end of year'. its school holidays.yuuhuuu
i bet all parents out there are now on a critical state of thinking. having headache and all sorts of sicknesses related to 'thinking'. trying to sort out school holiday's plans/activities for their loved ones. vacation?extra classes for kids? (i should say this is not necessary for primary school children).pity them. give them some freedom to choose and let them enjoy their holidays to the fullest. its year end holiday. once in a year. say no to extra classes.

.... but yes to tahfiz classes. both share the same adjective 'classes' but their approaches are different. tahfiz, i think, is more relaxing and its good for kids development. a motivation. a drill. well, kids. their brains are still young and fresh for memorizing drill. its a bonus for them. why don't we utilize their bonus. get them closer to the Holy Quran. its parents responsibilities to bring them closer to al-Khaliq before its too late. plus, it will only take 20 days of your kid's holidays.

as far as i know and see, majority of huffaz are not only able to memorize the Holy Quran but they are also among the best students in schools. i wish i'm one of them. late does not mean 'let it be'.
when i was in primary school, never at once i attended any extra classes during school holidays. my parents send us off to our home sweet home. our real home aka my tok's house. a placed called hometown. all my sisters were born there except for me and my younger sister. we both were born in hospital well, ICT changed everything from education to infrastructures. it was a place where we gathered and strengthened our relationship. i meant between my siblings and our cousins. me and parit could not be separated. i just didn't know why i'm in love to aquatic lives until now. i used to work like a labour. an unwanted useless labor. my work was; designing a fish trap. the location was very strategic and yucks. it was in the 'parit' (drain) next to my great-grandmother's house. naughty little kiddo. no one were there to capture our creative work. those days, having a camera was a nikmat coz no one could afford it. we didn't even have any phone. =). back to our school holiday's project, it was a succeed actually for kids like us when we finally managed to design one. a simple fish trap though there's no even a small fish was trapped by our 'trap'.=). that was 10 years ago. we had so much fun but now, no more school holidays.
as we grow older. no more gathering for school holidays. well, everything has changed. married. having their own family. their own children. their own hometown. their own careers. soon, i'll join them up so what should i say. all i need to do is trying to adapt to it. =) well,  life is a cycle. you will still meet the same ending no matter how fast you run or how much you are trying to avoid it.
read this,
" it is important for every Muslim to utilise their time and make reading the Quran a daily and family activity, for indeed The Qur’an will testify for you or against you onThe Day of Judgment." (Tasnim Nazeer, 2011)
till we meet again,
enjoy your holidays,
have fun,
salam
