salam,
again, how fast time flies. farewell to 2011!
too fast i grow. too fast time flies. too fast for 2011 to leave us.
too slow we move. to slow we act. to little we appreciate our time. too little our praises to Allah for giving us the opportunities to breath, eat and everything.
too easy for us to comment on things that happen to us.'This is wrong .that is right. This should not happen. That should happen.'
too fast we forget our plans for year 2011.
too slow we move to put our plans real
everything is just too fast. i'm now a 20 years old lady. next year, i'm gonna be 21. no longer an adolescents. gonna enter my adulthood. 2011!!leaving me with lots of changes i should say in few aspects in my life. realising the importance of ukhuwah. learn how to understand and appreciate myself. learning the real meaning of friendship. feels the improvement of my english. Weight improvemnet..haha. Not yet happen though i've tried for so long. Year 2011 marks my confident level improvement. Now i think, i'm brave enough to say no to whatever i think is wrong. Learn how to dig my own demand in everyday life. Learn how to be brave. Learn to be more patient, relax and cool. (this is still in progress). Me and babling cannot be separated. Sometimes, the urge to speak out burns all the patient, cool and relax.
in terms of language learning,
one year is definitely not enough to master it perfectly. it needs my patient and never ending passions. language means acquiring not learning. use it in your daily activites eg speaking. drillling is needed. confidence to use it in your daily communications.
i dun wanna waste my time learning it for exams just like what i've done when i was in secondary school.
learning arabic for the sake of exams. the only thing that i still remember perfectly is balaghah...malakum taka'ka'kum alaiyya katakak kuikum a'la zijinnah.there are a few more. i'm blessed for choosing to learn arabic. Bahasa al-quran. At least, it helps me to understand the verses of the holy Quran even it is only a bit. Xpe, tafseer ada but the degree of contentment is different plus understanding iA will help us a lot in the process of memorising.
my only hope is to pass down the eagerness and the passion to learn without fail to my future generations but how to pass it if the person who are hoping to be a role model some day in the future hasn't even start and continuosly holding the feeling.(chuckle!) english is for the sake of our better future. To conquer the world is by conquering others specialises. arabic is to fulfil the needs in us at least but a must know and learn and acquire language for me. Its lughatul jannah! it could help us to understand the verses of quran. a few words at least. me myself, i cant translate the verses of quran competely yet i'm far more grateful for i know few words from what i've recited. Next, understanding the basic rules in arabic. where to stop and where to start.
Enough talking about language. Slowly i fall in love to whatever i'm doing now. To kids too. To a reality that i'm soon gonna be a teacher.
>>>>>>>>>>
Lets wrap up the year 2011 with a few most popular stories selected by my woman instinct
1) the day our aliyah was brn
2)the day my phonology lecturer exploded. Tear off half of my friends books. Lesson learnt. 'Consider' should come first before taking any actions or else ur students will always look at you with zero admiration.
3)the day i turned 20
4) the day when i had to say goodbye.
5) the day i was chosen to hold a very big responsibility which i really dun want.
There are more but i hate touchy keypads. Still not used to it though i've been using this for nearly one month. Need sharperner to sharpen my finger.
Till then, salam

Museum visit
Salam,
This weekend will be My last weekend here. How fast time flies.
Last two days was my sis's 4th anniversary. 4 years of happiness, tears, turbulencess, sharings...blessed with two beautiful children. May Allah grant them with happiness forever and ever. May all their wishes come true. Understanding is no longer a secret recipe cz in whatever relationships, the only key of happiness is understanding. Talking about this make me remeber of this
Pesan m.cik Norhayati Jusoh,"...5 tahun pertama-tahu, 5 tahun kedua-kenal, 5 tahun ketiga-faham. Dalam proses itu kita akan diuji dan perkahwinan bukan hanya melibatkan suami isteri tetapi hubungan 2 keluarga, ipar duai dsbnya. Pandai2 bawa diri..." Jangan jemu menitipkan amanat untuk kami ya mak cik.
Happy anniversary to my dear sister n bil
We had a great dinner on the night of their anniversary. An exra special dinner from both of them to both of them. Thanks for bringing me along. Hihi. At least, you both gave me extra special experience. Easy la for me to arrange my own anniversary celebrations in the future. Kidding.
A day before christmas holiday,
We went to another museum in Labuan, marine museum. It was build by the sea shore and the place was totally ideal for a marine museum. Of course la kan, thats why they build it there. It stored quite a lot of informations related to the the aquatic lives, ship wrecks and lots more but mostly related to the aquatic lives. Overall, marine museum was much more better than the Labuan museum i went a few weeks back.2 and a half stars for marine museum.
I bet if you bring along kids, they will love it. You could see the aquatic lives swimming in their aquariums in real but not as real as in aqua KlCC. Free kn. Not as many as in aquaria too. Limited types of fishes yet this place was much more better than Labuan museum.
Lots of information you could gained actually but it still needed your hard work to read. The entrance view was superb coz kebetulan there was a ship berlabuh.
I'm so sorry for i coudnt provide any pictures. I didnt bring along my camera and the only hp i have had run out of batery. There were a few taken by my bil. IA, i'll try get it and show you how beautiful the view of the sea from the museum entrance. Amazing view. Subhanallah!

2 children 11 hours
salam,
just a simple experience yet experiencing it is priceless. at least, i got to experience what my sister has to go through throughout her journey as a mother to two little bunnies. owh so not easy, that's the only thing i could say.
'you will never know the hardships, loves, cares and all the noble feelings of a mother to her children until you become one'
taking care of the two little siblings are not easy i should say. not easy for me but not to their parents. their kids and once u have babies, the extra loves and cares hormones will be excreted. that's what differentiate the lve from the parents and anyone else. a new fact by me.hihi. but thats what i can see. my sister, no matter how big the tantrum the two little munchkins throw, she just can manage it. cool and relax. no pinching or punching scenes. hugs and kisses only okay. terrific. only now i believe, the power of mother's love. the mother instincts. i have experimented it on my nieces and my nephews..haha.
i'm blessed, little aliyah has never been on tantrums. not even once since the day i first takes charge of my sis's sil's job as nanny.haha. at least, she gives me a wonderful experience of taking care a cool baby. same goes to my sis's lil hero, mr shakir. he's not a kind of tantrum boy yet a hardworking one. haha. ironically, if you need any helper, u can just straighly call my sis. haha. he can turn your tidy house into a very merry neat house. hihi. not a joke but this is serious. haha..part of his development. haha.thats what his mother said .look, how cool my sister can be. for me, i have a reason to look a bit tension.haha. cz i'm not yet married and having babies. the extra loves, cares, understandings hormones are not yet excreted.haha. but for what yelling at kids. they know nothing. if we get angry, pinching n yelling etc at them, it means, we're on a state of stress or any emotional problems. a rational human will mever ever yell at kids. no matter how naughty they are, face it calmly and maturedly.
often i see in the public places esp supermarket, parents torture their own kids. reasons: misbehave, demand of this and that, tantrums n etc. i dunno you but for me myself, never at once in my kiddy life i experience any kind of torture in the public. i believe in th way my parents mold me and my other sisters. soft and relax yet tegas. so as the way my sister mold her children. misbehave= punishment but please not in the public. demanding= who teaches them to be demanding? kids will never do things they dun use to.
enough talking about motherly thingy..err. just an opinion based on my observations.
congratulations and lots of appreciations to my dear mother and sisters for successfully go through all the ups and downs since they are officially become a mother esp my mother. a mother to seven. a grandmother to four plus four. a wife to a handsome man, mr Ismail.hihi. she has been both, a working and a stay at home mother to seven. seven isnt a small number back then but now, my mum said , seven isnt enough. why? it seems like too fast for her perhaps. too fast we grow. leaving the house for the sake of our futures. whenever she said so i feel like crying yet i cant do anything coz she is the one who really wants to see us succeed in whatever us in. my father too. well, man! they will never say out their feelings. hurm, man's nature. hard to break through yet you can see it through their eyes and the way your father acts.
Thinking of all these make me feel 'hah, motherhood life is so not easy and scary'.
Simpan dulu perasaan nak kahwin. The younger generations these days never think of the life after marriage including me. Kahwin memang seronok. The life after marriage will define you the real happiness. First is married life. Followed by the parenthood life.
Are you all ready to
1) educate your next generations
2) facing all the ups and downs and the challengings of the parenthood life.
Grrr. Think of all these before you could simply said 'saya nak kahwin sangat2'.
Be a role model
Parenting skills.
Managing tantrums.
Understanding others' needs and demands
Working
Cooking
Socialising
Having new famiy members
Extra problems despite the happiness
Sharing
Etc
Lesson learnt...
Countless lessons learnt.
Always be prepared for a better future.
There's no way to avoid yet there'll always be a better way to face it all.
It starts from a phrase 'early preparation'.

pulau sg miri, WPL
salam,
'Dan tiada sama d antara dua laut; yang ini tawar, segar, sedap diminum dan yang lain asin lagi ahit. Dan dari masing-masing laut itukamu dapat memakan daging yang segar dan kamu dapat mengeluarkan perhiasan yang dapai kamu memakainya, dan pada masing-masingnya kamu lihat kapal-kapal berlayar membelah laut supaya kamu dapat mencari karunia Nya dan supaya kamu bersyukur' (35:12)
labuan the federAl territory, this is my third post if i'm not mistaken talking about labuan.
today, i'm gonna tell you a story entitled Pulau Sungai Miri/ Sungai Pagar.
long long time ago, there was a king named the king of Brunei Darussalam and a prince named Prince Hasihim who were responsible for the British controlled in this territory. In the name of friendship, both of the two monsters agreed to hand over control of LAbuan to the British crown. It happened on 24 December 1846 when a captain from the British warship HMS Iris, RN Mundy, rasied the British Empire flag on this beach. THis event marked the beginning of the British rule in Labuan. it did not stop at that. later in 1945, this beach was once again used as a landing point led by a British army. it was agreed as a trial from the Allied forces to liberate Labuan from the Japanese occupation. That was the end of my no ending story.
this beach is facing Sabah and located about half an hour journey from my sister's house. it'll only takes half an hour for you to round all around Labuan. a very small city yet there are still development here and there due to its special characteristic. oil and gas hub. thanks to oil and gas for they are the reasons of the development. foods here are veri pricey. 2 ringgit for a cup of ice tea. high living cost due to the minimal plantations and slow development. i bet youwill get shocked if you are here for the first time. most of the houses here are having at least one kereta mewah.
what are the specials and differences between this beach to the other beaches in the eastern of Malaysia?
the wave. if you get a chance to see the waves. subhanallah, it could roll you to the middle of the sea. it could cause death i should say yet they are still fearless humans choosing to risk their own life to the hard waves. i dun even go near. enjoying the breathtaking scenary from far is more than enough and its so beautiful.masyaAllah. mesmerizing, breathtaking, tantalizing and all. better than BAtu FEringghi in terms of the cleanliness and the waves power.
we wait until the sun sets while enjoying the beautiful view of Allah creations. watching kids running here and there. little shakir meets a new friend which he refers her as 'kawan'. the two little kids are lovely and match befriends together. holding each other's hands with a little bit 'shy' faces. so pure and sincere. theystart talking using the unknown language. hard to understand yet i know they both understand whatever they say. when its time to go home, the cute little girl comes approaching us and projects out his little hands and guess what the squeaky boy does. hihi. i said go and salam. he said 'kawan'. yuppp dear its your new friend. hihi. so cute. holding hand or salam for quite a long time and lastly, hush a good bye lah. 'bye2' shakir said. so cute. no pictures or videos. what a waste. nevermind, blog will help us and acik will keep recording every single of your special developments. not all but some maybe, iA. kids are so sincere. accepting each other without any criteria considerations. tall, short, rich, poor, fair or whatever are nt a big deal in their friendships. sometimes, the adults should see kids as their role models and relects themselves.
i coudn't understand what shakir's trying to say to the little princess cz te only thing i cud catch is 'hurm'. this little boy loves making hurm sound for it is just like a sign of agreement. just like the way her ummi always reacts to his questions. cheeky!
little aliyah, what have i done to her? blame on the soulemama blog. experiencing the natures. touch the green grass. hands-on activities are good for children's developements as it will help to activate their visual intelligence. let them experiencing things around them cz kids' cognitive development are undeniably very rapid and active. they own very good lens and virus-free card reader. they record things around them before they could speak and express their tot in words. i let aliyah touch the grass using her foot.kah..kah. soulemama, thanks for the sharing.i'm not yet a mothet yet i enjoy reading your posts and looking forward to apply it in a real world if mine. soon, iA.
we are heading home by 6 pm. thats the end of our wonderful rehlah.
p/s: still blogging thru the ipad. this time is ipad 1 which belongs to my dear sister. excuse me for any sentence or spelling mistakes. i hate erasing cz whenever i click at the wrong words, it will take my few trials before the cursor could finaly catch up my direction. so not easy using this smart gadjet.

Labuan: the second expression
Salam, 12 days before year 2011 will finally come to its end and i'm still here enjoying the left days of the second semester's break. Labuan is a small yet rubbish are everywhere. Everything is almost perfect from the facilities to its tourism places. The surroundings' environment reflects its community behaviour. ThAts the only weakness of our malaysians community. There are more yet the most out seen one is rubbish. No busses or to be less specific, little public transports except for taxi. Limited shopping places. 2 weeks left before its time to go home. Till then, Wassalam
