cousin's E- day

salam,

another member in our extended family finds her life time partner. teeheee. the adults said, being engaged~; it's gonna be a tough journey. May Allah grant both of  them with an endless perseverance to face all the coming challenges. i bet no one is hoping for it yet, we can't run away from conflicts and problems. my only advice is face it with maturity. it's gonna be a fun one.

mine is still unseen. Ooo Allah s.w.t,  make it seen when my turn comes. ~nak jugak~  =P

Wednesday's lesson

salam,

Yesterday has passed, forever, beyond our control. The other day we should worry about is tomorrow. who can be sure the sun will rise again tomorrow.

i love the idea of having a 'me' time. with no one's around you. you can hear nothing but the sound of the squeaking moving fan.

sometimes, i love but all the time, i prefer to have someone else with me making noise in this cozy suite. =P

owh, that's just a set induction. just to inform how much i prefer to be alone sometimes, to reminisce the moments i had spend in my life.

late in the afternoon, i had a long chat with a not so closed friend, while waiting for an appointment with our subject lecturer. hurm, sometimes, it's good to have a new working partner. at least, it's gonna be a new, fun journey to explore.

our girl's talk's topic was 'susah vs senang'.

we both shared the same idea about life. once, we were on the same boat. experiencing the hard life. i bet not so many of us had had experienced it esp if you're coming from an educated family or maybe, we had our own definition for 'hard time'. my father was a teacher with 8 growing children. hihi. living in a village made me feel nothing except peaceful and contented even without so much money and beautiful clothes.  i never asked for toys. we didn't mind wearing whatever our parents afford to buy for us. that's why i was and still good in fishing. hihi. my hobby was fishing. everyone in the house called me by a blink blink name 'senduk'. i was a special little kiddo with the ability to make people feel really annoyed. not my fault. kids should be entertain by toys. that's the rule of life made by human but we had no money to buy toys, so we ended up doing whatever we thought appropriate and fun. so much to tell cz back then, in the Nineties, life was quite hard. just imagine, one working parent to feed one perfect football team in the house. but, they did it well. they managed the difficulties well or maybe, they successfully turned it into a challenge. road to bring up 8 children. impressed!

that was a little bit of my history.

hers was even more harder than me. i wasn't alone experiencing such life. at least, we had had such experience and now, we have something to turn to and to reflect once we're at the top of the world.

there was one thing that we both agreed upon, we don't want such life to re visit our life and our future generations' life yet again.

tapikan,
ada ibrah di setiap dugaan dan ujian
kesusahan dulu menjadikan kita yang sekarang
menjadikan ibu bapa kita yang sabar dan tersangat sabar
menjadikan kita nekad untuk berjaya dan mempunyai kerjaya
chayok!

yesterday has passed, tomorrow is the future and still a fold mystery.

regards,
sis

semoga 'lebih baik' bukan sekadar azam dan selamanya kekal menjadi azam.

class picnic

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”
― William Shakespeare

salam,

how did you spend your weekend?

mine was great. spending  some quality time with the fellow classmates at the beach, under the sun. hurm,  it's easy to forget about friendships when you're trying to keep up with so many things in your life. so, that's the exact reason why i chose not to miss this opportunity. last time, they had picnic at the same beach but with so many of us were not around due to so many reasons. but, this time, we managed to gather almost everyone of us to sit together and planned a picnic. three of our classmates were not around but, we really hoped they could spend their time with us too.

And they plan, and Allah also plans. And Allah is the Best of Planners (Surah Anfal: 30)
we had so much fun. i pretty sure i got to know more about my friends. they're crazy as always and even, crazier than before. oh! maybe, age made us all crazier each and every single day. three years of psychologically and emotionally togetherness seemed not enough for us to know each other better but at least, we kept on learning and trying to build a strong relationship among us all.

i'm surely gonna miss the moments we spend together once it's time for me to leave this arena. one year and 11 months to go. can't wait to finish off this journey and start with a new challenging journey. deep meaning. hihi. =)

Empathy game

salam,

today's lesson is about empathy

who knows what does it mean by empathy?put up your hands.

you'll see a large crowd of human are putting their hands high up in the sky.

it looks like everyone knows and understands the concept of empathy but how many of you have been practicing it or at least, hardly trying to put yourself into other's conditions or feelings?

very little. melainkan kalau tengok movie hindustan/korea/cinta. boleh sampai reyau sebaldi. lagho!

just wanna quote an example from what had happened this morning. four of us went to a department in our college to lodge a report upon the mistakes happened in the process of calculating our results. we insisted to have a look at our real results cz most of us can't wait no more. almost three months had passed and why took so long just to count our pointer.

guess what the person said
"cikgu, it's no longer important to know your pointer. keep on studying. u'olz kan dah pass dan boleh teruskan pengajian."
tak baik tau, penat kami perah otak baca buku. berhitaman jalan pegi kelas. mata bengkak macam panda sebab study last minute. mestila nak tahu tahap pencapaian kami sekarang. gigit telinga satgi baru tau!

cuba jalan dalam kasut kami, walk in our shoes! we have been walking in the gov system's nutshell for so long and we always end up to 'regret'.

peace no war, ke arah Malaysia yang lebih efisien dan sistematik.

regards,
cikgu

January's life lesson

salam,

life is an everyday lesson.

today's lesson is about contentment. yeah! the state of being satisfied. satisfaction.

i remember passing through a blog which i couldn't remember no more but i still remember what's inside the blog. the excerpt of a saying written by Yasmin Mogahed. i love every single of her words. meaningful and tactful. here goes the full version of it.
Often what makes us fall into despair is focusing on the wrong things. For example, if we’ve sinned, we focus on the sin, rather than the Most Merciful. If we’re broken, we focus on the break instead of Al Jabbar, the One who mends. If we are in pain, we focus on the pain itself, instead of on the One who removes all pain. If we are wounded, we focus on the wound instead of on the One who heals all wounds. If we’re scared, we focus on the fear, instead of the Protector. And if we’re facing a problem, we see the problem, but not the One who can solve it. We see the lion, but not the lion tamer. We see the imperfections of dunya, but not the perfection of Allah. We see the immediate, but not the Tomorrow, the tree, but not the fruit, the thorn, but not the rose. All our pain, all our despair, all our hopelessness, stems from looking at the creation, instead of the Creator. Ask yourself: what is your heart looking at? -Yasmin Mogahed-
i remember posted a picture of  minnie and bobo with a quotation in between of the two subjects.
"All life is an experiment, the more experiment you make the better" -Ralph Waldo Emerson-
ayat-ayat penyedap hati. tak sedap mana pun.

bak kata Macbeth ;-
  "What's done, cannot be undone"
moving back isn't a wise way to express the regretful and sadness. it's just one way to escape.
“You can't look back - you just have to put the past behind you, and find something better in your future.” -Jodi Picoult-
whatever it is, move on. life is truly an experiment. the hypothesis is sometimes failed to be proved but that does not mean you'll forever fail. it just a signal of you need to find some other methods that suits your style and intelligence. never give up trying until you make sure your hypothesis is truly make sense and accepted.

who says you can't do it when you're already half way through it. whatever people say, it will never change anything until you change your inner self and making a move.

its normal to be sad but forget not that the power was in your hand. whatever that came out reflects what you'd been doing for the pass six months. learn to bear defeat with dignity, accept criticism with poise.

often, when we're sad, we can't think of anyone near to us who can make us comfort just like what our parents and sisters can do to sooth the mixed up feelings. hey, always remember, we have Him forever and ever. always turn to him regardless of time and situations. He knows best and He will never test us with something that we're not capable with. it can be a wake up call. reflect and act!

Kerana itulah Rasulullah s.a.w ada mengingatkan:“Kiranya kamu mahu meminta pertolongan mintalah pertolongan dengan Allah.”
(Tirmizi, Kitab sifat al-Qiyamah wa al-Wara’, no. 2454)
things might not always turn to as you wish.
be positive and stay away from prejudice.
too high expectations may cause depression.
be moderate
always say 'alhamdulillah'.
never ask as if you're more than deserve to get whatever you always wish and aim for. reflect! and be grateful.

some says, pointer is just a matter of number, the skill you possessed is counted. me said, 'its isn't just a matter of number'. it's a symbol of contentment.

=)

till then,
salam
