private school for a better future

assalamualaikum,

that was what we discussed yesterday.

after one month of practicum,  i dare to say, i won't send my children to gov school. biar miskin dahulu. the best education is Islamic-based education. but, we don't have it in Malaysia. everything is westernize based education.

In convent, they do not even recite prayer during assembly and the teachers greet pupils with good morning and 'salam sejahtera' only during assembly. it's not that there's no Malay/Muslim pupils, but, they called it by the name of equality.

so sad!

post practicum

assalamualaikum,

year 2 Al-Buqhari

phew (lap peluh). cute but naughty. cheeky but talkative. Is there any words to describe them? If you ask me, I could only say. Ya Rabbi! I remembered telling my partner that I really needed extra energy on Wednesday. They won't listen to my instructions unless i used the high pitch. melantun balik! macam electrons.  it moved very fast and vigorously. I had two boys who always refused to do anything. I had Yamani who totally refused to even hold his pencil and take out his books. I had Mawi who refused to sit properly and pay attention to the lesson. I had Danial who always tried to make jokes. I had Syazwan who always wanted to answer my questions. It's a good behaviour actually but he wanted to answer all and almost everything.

whatever it was, there are our future leaders. Teach and treat them well..

career

assalamualaikum,

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

we won!

assalamualaikum,

All praises to Allah the Almighty

they won the first runner up for action song. despite of all the hardships, Allah grants me with this.  it's indescribable. look at their smiling faces. look at Madam Chin's smiling face. it is not only a happy smile. It is more than that. if you are a teacher, you will understand this feeling. this is my first experience. yes, i'm happy and proud of them. i feel like crying when the performance ends. what can i say is you can't put price on a teacher's love.

yes, i wanna be a teacher. more than a teacher. just like Madam Chin. a very dedicated teacher. she's not only a teacher but also a motivator, mediator, doctor,  tailor, choreographer, mother and all.

teaching is not her profession but her life. that's all i can say. i can't see it for any Malay teachers. i dunno why. but, that's all I can say from my three weeks observation.

4) syahira- an-nas

assalamualaikum,

i was teaching a year 4 class using ICT. as usual, it took time to open a file.

kids were forever kids. they read every single thing on my desktop. and suddenly, one of them came across to a note on the top right of my desktop. She read loudly and clearly, syahira- an-nas...'PAK WE teacher ke?'. haha. i said, no, that's my husband's name. weee.

28 budak-budak kena tipu dengan seorang cikgu. =P

they kept on asking my status. how many children do i have? and so on so forth. all about marriage life.

do i look too old for my age that they kept on asking ' teacher, have you got married?'

aiyoo!! kids these days. super advance.

i badly hope not to hear that word since i'm surely going to hear that word over and over again sooner in college. well, wedding season has officially begun!

....................

4) syahira- an-anas is actually my usrah homework. haha. need to do some reading and present the gist of An-Nas,

what a day

assalamualaikum,

someone was very franked to tell me that my friend was a big fan of my blog. since, the person was one of my team mates for practicum, therefore, i had to force myself to write my thoughts here. =P

in the first place, i thought no one was reading my piece of thoughts since most of it were my experience. solely experience. nothing fancy and tidak ilmiah.

today marked my day 21 in school. a few more days to go. every day, every minutes and every seconds, i prayed hard so that my time would move faster and faster. i wanted to go to school.

i did something today. actually, we did.

it was 1.45 pm and i just finished my lesson. i quickly walked to my cozy place and packed my things. my team mate asked me, "Are we going back now?". "Yes,of course!" said Syahira.

we were ready to leave the room. we switched off the air-cond since someone warned us the other day not to leave it on before going back. torture u know! they would zoom in every inch of your steps. well, that's the chronicles of juniors. since we're still young, fresh, vibrant and juniors, we had no choice and no voice. if they said A, we nodded. If they said B, we smiled. if they said C, we said to ourselves, "Be patient and don't kill your  body cells since ''stress' could deteriorate our cells in our body.

back to the real story.

it happened to ............ we could leave the school compound only after 2.15 p.m. what a shame! what a spoiled!

to make it worse, one of the senior teachers in the teachers' room said out loud ' nak balik dah ka? esok baru boleh balik awal!" (i smelled something fishy)

to make it more severe, we proudly replied ' we wanna go back early today. it's our first time'

came an ustaz, he looked at me and said, now only you can go back. astagfirullahal azim! my heart burned.

driving is a skill

assalamualaikum,

i'm home. driving home was a last minute decision. my first time ever driving alone in a highway.

driving is a skill for life.

there's so many things to be proud of but i preferably choose this one. hihi

to gather that spirit takes a few years.

i ran my father's car off the road last year, hit a fence, RM 1000 in damage. =)

what a long journey.

indeed, a long journey.

i finally drive in Penang.

alone driving back to Taiping from the busy land.

stuck in a massive traffic jam.

manual car.
