assalamualaikum,
what do you expect from a wedding photographer? If you ask me, i would expect him/her to bring me to some beautiful places for photoshoot, of course. I would also expect him to give me the best shots. best shots mean i must look gorgeous and extra special. hehe. sesaje merepek.
last Sunday, my sis asked me to follow her for her wedding photoshoot. i was there as mak andam, to help her with her make up, wears and all sorts of bride thingy.
so, where did we go? the photographer brought us to a beautiful and peaceful place. i knew the place from my college friends but i'd never been there though it's not too far from my college. i will do a come back visit next time, iA.
so, what did i do? i did nothing. I spend my time walking around and capture some pictures for a long term memory. gitu. that was my first time visiting Mengkuang dam, so i just spend my time sitting by the lake watching people around me jogging and doing family activities such as picnicking. it's a nice place but quite dangerous for little children cz if they lost their body balancing, they might end up rolling down the lake.
the session took about 40 minutes and imagine, i spend about 40 minutes watching people, capturing some pictures and dreaming.
i was thinking to myself while walking around the dam area, is it okay if i skip the ritual of the newly weds? i mean, the photography session. i love taking pictures and having someone to take my pictures but not strangers. haha.
i found it awkward to pose in front of the outsiders. erk. plus, they would demand you to pose with so many alluring styles with your other half. full stop.
those were only a humble opinion from a single lady.
when the time comes, i'm still unsure whether i would still hire or not. yelah, it's gonna be a both side decision.
hello! hello! the other half to be, are we going to hire a photographer or not? haha. gatai overload.
that's all.
the older said a picture worth a thousand words. so, here it is;
