last few months, during the Chinese New Year break, we went to Terengganu for my sister's wedding reception. We spend three days since we'd never been there for the entire of our lives. my sisters booked three different homestays for us. The first one was located at Pantai Air Tawar. The house was super huge that we thought of buying the house if my father was a millionaire. The location was very strategic whic facing the beach and at night, you could feel the wind slapping your cheeks. So, the house belong to us for a few hours since we arrived there the night before the reception. well, that's the thick and thin if you were travelling with babies, toddlers and kids. We had to stop at almost every r&r. clean up, fill up and etc. syamil pooped when we just continued our journey to Besut. not even 10 minutes on the road. pfttt. The pregnant mummy longed for keropok lekor, so we had to stop at the small stall along the journey to buy some for the baby in the oven.
After a few hours, we finally arrived at a beautiful, peaceful land. i enjoyed the scenery. breathtaking. we went straight to my sister's parents in laws to fill up our empty tanks. And, we were brought to this beautiful house. we were welcomed by the sea breeze. heaven! i shall say.
taranggg! the first home where we stayed for a couple of hours.
MNI Homestay.
on the second day.
the reception was on Friday, so, we must arrived at the groom's house right after jumaat prayer. As I said earlier, if you were travelling with babies, toddlers and kids, stop dreaming to always stick to a schedule. you had to always expect for the unexpected. hehe.
we arrived at the 2pm and went back to the second home stay at about 4pm. We took some rest before continued our jalan-jalan cari makan to Pantai Bukit Keluang. Since the kids were already tired and the adults needed to refill the empty spaces in their tanks, we decided to hunt for the best place to eat. We chose to eat at the restaurant near to Kuala Besut Jetty since my latest bil suggested that place. i forgot to snap any picture since i was busy eating and enjoying the cool wind.
I requested my mak's permission to go to Pulau Perhentian just for sight seeing with my sister but, got rejected. pftt. that's a sign that i should make a come back.
on the third day,
we planned to leave the house early in the morning. Sadly, the earliest that we could make was at 9 a.m. We went straight to my bil's house for breakfast. this time, they served us nasi berlauk. once in a while. enjoice! forget about the hidden fat for three days.
the second homestay located near to IPG. best!!!
at about 11, we continued our journey to Kota Bharu. The hectic journey begun. I hated traffic jam. I won't go again to Kelantan during school holidays. We arrived at Rantau Panjang late in the afternoon. We had very limited time to shop. we were tired sitting still in the car. i was so tired entertaining the active kids. i just wondered where do they get the energy to keep on playing and jumping and doing so many crazy things.
the third homestay located at Kampung Bunut Susu, if i' not mistaken. but, it took less than 5 minutes to Wakaf Che Yeh from the house.
we arrived at the third home stay late at night. My sister planned to pay a visit to Wakaf Che Yeh, but, we had no more energy left. So, the plan was cancelled.
On the fourth day,
we were more determined, energetic and excited to pay a visit to Pasar Siti Khadijah and Pasar Buluh Kubu. please don't ask how much we had spent coz i believed, you would say we were crazy. not me but my sisters. We went back to our homestay to pack our things and checked out after spending a few hours in the building. We made a stop at the nearest restaurant to fill up our tanks before we continued our journey home. oh, the lunch was scrumptious and the second visit, i must do soon.
that's the end of our journey to the east coast of Malaysia. we arrived home at around 2 a.m and the first thing that we did was to unpack things that we successfully rembat. haha.
till then, assalamualakum.
